Fatima Omar
a clinical psychologist
Fatima Omar is a clinical psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She completed her undergraduate degree, Honours and Masters at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, graduating with an MA in Clinical Psychology. She is also a member of the Golden Key International Society, a society honouring academic excellence and presented an academic paper at the International Congress of Psychology in July 2012.
Fatima has experience working in psychiatric public and private settings where she was exposed to working with acute and severe mental illness. She has experience in facilitating groups specialising in emotional regulation, stress and anger management. Fatima has experience in working with a wide variety of presentations including depression, anxiety, self-harm, grief and loss and post-traumatic stress disorders.
